shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders,

What are your return guidelines?

The return and reimbursement of any goods delivered outside of India is not permitted. Only product exchanges are permitted within 7 days of item receipt under the following circumstances:

The buyer must choose an exchange product or items (of equivalent or greater value).

customer must transport the original products themselves in sellable condition to our Indian warehouse; if customer prefers, we can handle shipment. In all situations, the buyer is responsible for paying the whole shipping cost, including all taxes and tariffs.

The original products will undergo a quality check after being delivered to our warehouse.

After the quality check we will require the balance payment if any. Once the balance payment is done, we will dispatch the new selection at your location (New product shipping cost will be taken care by Scandic Knots)

For the new selected product:

If the price exceeds the cost of the original product, we will need balance payment before dispatching new selection.

if the value is less than the product's original worth. We will offer a coupon for the remaining amount that can be used within the next six months of the date of issuance on the website.

Exchanges are only possible for custom orders where there is a manufacturing problem.

Will I have to pay for the shipping back to Scandic Knots?

How do I process for exchange of rug to Scandic Knots within 7 days?

Within seven days of receiving the order, an exchange request must be made.

You will get a call from our customer service team within 1-2 working days.

Choose an exchange product or products (of equal or greater value). Our team of experts will assist you in selecting new products for exchange.

Once your choice has been made, you must ship the original goods yourself to our Indian warehouse in sellable condition, or we can arrange delivery at your request. In both these cases shipping cost inclusive of all taxes and duties is to be borne by you.

Once the original product is received at our warehouse, it will go through quality check.

After the quality check we will require the balance payment if any. Once the payment is done, we will dispatch the new selection at your location (New product shipping cost will be taken care by Jaipur rugs)

For the new selected product:

Before sending out a new selection, we will require balance payment if the value is higher than the original product value.

If the value is less than the product's original worth, we will offer a coupon for the remaining amount that can be used within the next six months of the date of issuance on the website.

Terms & Conditions for exchange of product

A request for an exchange must be made within two days of receiving the order.

Buyer is responsible for paying all applicable taxes and customs while shipping the original merchandise to our Indian warehouse.

The product must be returned in the same condition that it was delivered by the buyer.

The item's original packaging, labels, and tags must be present. Exchanges that have altered or illegible serial numbers are likewise void.

Once the item has passed quality control, we will start the replacement process.

Within 48 hours of receiving the product, please contact us if there is a manufacturing defect. If you could send us a picture of the rug at scandicknots@gmail.com, that would be great.

For custom orders, return/exchange is applicable only in case of any manufacturing defect.

Defects outside product “manufacturing defect” entitlement:

Occasional sprouting pulls or loss of single tufts of fibre.

Shedding. (This can be reduced by vacuuming the rug at a low power mode at least once a week)

Natural fibres and colours, prolonged exposure to sunlight, humidity, heat, or specific atmospheric gases can all affect colour and texture.

Rolling marks (These can disappear with routine vacuuming)

Matting and crushing in carpets can be reduced by keeping the rug clean.

Rugs that have just been pulled from a bag could have Order, which can be removed by exposing the rug to direct sunlight for 24 hours (back side up).
